National Geographic Experience Goes Mobile On BlackBerry Smartphones

HONG KONG - National Geographic today announced the launch of the National Geographic Application for BlackBerry® smartphone users in Hong Kong and Australia. The application is the first Hong Kong-developed National Geographic application designated for the BlackBerry platform and features a collection of wallpapers, ring-tones and video highlights from the National Geographic Channel, the brand most recognized for its high-quality production, compelling documentaries and breathtaking photos.

Inspiring BlackBerry smartphone users to explore the real world at their fingertips, the National Geographic Application delivers first-class National Geographic content and programming based on National Geographic’s multimedia archive, and is available for BlackBerry smartphone users in Hong Kong from PCCW mobile* and in Australia on BlackBerry App World™ (www.blackberry.com/appworld).
