iQlink now delivers an improved SAP® experience on BlackBerry smartphones

London, UK - iQlink, a Sky Technologies UK Premier Partner, is now providing an improved version of the SkyMobile application for BlackBerry® smartphones, which provides information held in CRM systems to mobile workers. New features include integration with a BlackBerry smartphone’s GPS, email, contacts, calendar, and phone features. Within the SkyMobile application users can:

  • Interact with BlackBerry smartphone contacts, calendar and map information
  • Automatically call, SMS or email a contact
  • Interface with the built-in camera on BlackBerry smartphones
  • Interact with GPS and BlackBerry Maps information to give location based functionality
  • Use attachments such as documents, spreadsheets and PDFs.

iQlink currently offers existing Sky Technologies solutions including Mobile CRM, Sales Order Capture, Workflow Approval, Human Capital Management and Field Service, which all have these changes incorporated and are readily available for deployment on the BlackBerry platform. The solution interacts natively with SkyMobile applications ensuring seamless navigation and a very straightforward end user experience.

“Smartphones require smart applications that fully incorporate all aspects of media, voice and visual functionality,” commented Stephen Ware, CTO, Sky Technologies. “The days of the segregated form driven mobile applications, many of which are dumb browser based deployments, are fast disappearing with the emergence of these exciting new mobile applications.”

Paul Viney, MD of iQlink adds, “More new product developments from Sky Technologies enable us to build and demonstrate deployment of SAP to BlackBerry smartphones in a matter of days. We are proud to be the Premier Partner in the UK for Sky Technologies, offering such innovative and, most importantly, proven mobile solutions to SAP users.”
